Legend of Slime: The ULTIMATE Traits Guide 2023

In Legend of Slime, you have the ability to eventually roll for traits. These traits are random and consist of different types of stats. It can be easy to get confused on what traits you should roll for. In this guide, we will talk about the prioritization of traits and what you should roll for to get the most amount of damage.

Where can I find the Trait page?

The trait page can be found by clicking on the first tab at the bottom of the main page, and by clicking on the last tab. You should see a list of five random stats.

How do you get Trait points?

Description of Trait Points: “A strange token used to change traits. It’s from the National Dwarf Association as payment for beating up their old king.”

You can get Trait points by challenging the Dwarven King. You can access the Dwarven King by clicking on the third tab at the bottom of the main screen, and scrolling down to “Dwarven King”. It does cost silver Dungeon keys, which refresh on a daily basis (two keys a day). You can also do additional challenges by watching the ad videos, up to two times. You may also get silver keys by doing the daily roulette.

What Trait ranking should I get?

Traits are ranked SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F. SS is the rarest ranking but also the stronger ranking, and F is the weakest. Weirdly enough, E rank is actually the most common.

  • SS rank: 0.0756%
  • S rank: 0.1890%
  • A rank: 0.5197%
  • B rank: 0.5197%
  • C rank: 9,4491%
  • D rank: 28.3474%
  • E rank: 37.7965%
  • F rank: 18.8982%

You should obviously aim for SS, even though it has the lowest chance.

What if I get an S ranking?

Even if the S ranking is the desired stat, you should always aim for SS. You want to utilize your trait points as economical as possible, meaning you should only aim for the trait ranking and stats of the highest power. When you “lock” a trait, then the trait point amount increases per roll, so it’s better to aim for the best. You are going to have to re-roll anyway.

What color set / synergy should I aim for?

Synergies / Trait sets are the colored hexagon shapes next to the traits you can roll. These are blue, purple, orange, red, and green.

  • Blue is called Ghost (increased HP and Evasion %)
  • Purple is Vampire (HP% recovery)
  • Orange is Hydra (Increased Attack %)
  • Red is Fiend (Increased Critical Hit Damage)
  • Green is Slime (Increased damage of your basic attacks).

You should always try to complete the Orange Hydra set by rolling for four hydra traits. For the final trait, roll for one Red / fiend to get the Increased Critical Hit ATK by 400% bonus.

What Trait stats should I get?

The possible trait stats are: Increased Attack %, Increased Attack Speed, Increased Multishot % Chance, Increased HP, Increased Companion Attack %, Increased Skill Damage, Increased Gold Acquisition, Increased Critical Hit Chance, and Increased Critical Hit Damage.

If we are aiming for the most optimal build, then it would be all SS-ranked, Attack %. You always want to maximize your damage so you can kill bosses and mobs as fast as possible.

Stay strong with Traits by following the 500 point rule.

Uh oh, I’m running out of TP (Trait points)! Time to settle!

The only problem is while you’re rolling, it may feel like you are missing out on a lot of power now. To fix this, I follow the 500 rule.

Once you hit 500 trait points left, you can start trying to roll and settle for OK traits. It is near impossible at 500 trait points left to get all SS rankings, so for the sake of maintaining an upward power progression with your slime, just try settling for the best traits you can get.

You will seek the following:

  • Increased Attack %
  • Increased Critical Hit Damage
  • Increased Companion Attack %.

Even if it’s an F ranking, that can temporarily increase your power for the time being. If you roll an F ranked Increased Attack %, for example, lock it and continue to roll. Rinse and repeat until you use up all your trait points for the day.

Final Thoughts

Traits are a great way to get a massive boost in attack power. Even though it seems like a huge gamble, you should settle for the best traits you can get so you don’t waste your time locking mediocre traits and using up all your pressure trait points.
